SpaceTime Screen Saver v2.1 for Mac OS X

Download File Notes SpaceTime.dmg Disk Image file containing SpaceTime Screen Saver.pkg installable package for OS X 10.6.8 or higher. This is a 64-bit binary for Intel based Macs. (Hosted at GitHub) For Programmers - Complete Xcode 4.2 source code and project files are available on GitHub: git clone https://github.com/ppinter1/SpaceTime.git git clone https://github.com/ppinter1/Mesh3DS.git I suggest building Mesh3DS first; it's a pre-requisite Framework needed by SpaceTime.

Once installed, go ahead and enable SpaceTime. On OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) this is done by:

• launching the OS X 'System Preferences' application
• clicking the 'Desktop & Screen Saver' panel near the top
• selecting the 'Screen Saver' tab above the preview window
• scrolling down to the 'Other' folder, where you'll find 'SpaceTime'
• Selecting it, you should see SpaceTime running in the preview window. Note: the default mesh is fairly large and may take a few seconds to appear.

I don't know about OS X 10.7 (Lion) and later; no doubt those instructions will differ. You may also need to soften your security settings to install SpaceTime as it's unsigned. If you're concerned, by all means build it yourself from the sources (above).
